Without them the NPC has nothing to wear. Some NPCs may appear as just a floating pair of hands because they use the game hand textures, but the skins and meshes are missing for the head and body. If either of these apply re-download the object and put ALL of the contents into your game.I feel like I owe the Sims community an explanation for my inactivity. In short, I have lost interest in The Sims. When I started playing The Sims so many years ago, I was young and naïve, simply enjoying the game as it was. Expansion packs and custom content followed. Before I knew it, I had made a few of my own creations (mostly skins). Some of these old relics are still on my website. ![]() I started by submitting my skins to The Sims Resource. Much to my surprise, they achieved relative popularity. So I opened a Tripod site and uploaded my skins and a few objects. Over time I lost interest in skins and became fascinated with the potential of objects in The Sims. I thank the brilliant individuals in the community who made object hacking more accessible. Don Hopkins, Tom van Dijk, and James Sausville come to mind. Wild popularity of the Security Guard effectively killed my Tripod site, and I had to hold a fundraiser to pay for a new web host.
